In the artist's words
Valeria Gilardoni | Creativamente Vally
Valeria Gilardoni, aka Creativamente Vally, is an Italian artist born in 2003 and originally from Porlezza, a small town overlooking Lake Lugano in the province of Como.
Her passion for art stems from a desire to transform emotions, thoughts, and inspirations into images, giving life to a creative universe where realism and imagination meet.
A versatile and curious artist, she develops her research through various traditional techniques, including colored pencils, graphite, watercolor, pastels, inks, acrylics, and oil paint. Experimentation with materials is a fundamental part of her journey, allowing her to explore new expressive possibilities and progressively refine her artistic language.
Her work ranges from realistic portraiture to narrative illustration, with a particular predilection for naturalistic subjects, fairytale atmospheres, and compositions rich in detail and meaning.
At the heart of her research are light, color, depth, and the ability of images to evoke emotion. Each work arises from a process of observation and interpretation, in which technical precision intertwines with a personal sensitivity and a constant attention to the expressive dimension.
In parallel with her artistic career, Valeria pursued a university degree in Investigative and Forensic Criminology, graduating in 2026. This training has helped fuel her interest in observation, the complexity of human beings, and the details that often escape a superficial glance.
Through personal projects, commissions, and participation in artistic initiatives and competitions, she continues to experiment and broaden her creative horizons, pursuing constant growth both technically and expressively.
For Valeria, art is not just a form of expression, but a language capable of expressing what words cannot always convey. Each drawing and painting thus becomes a fragment of an ever-evolving personal research.
With Creativamente Vally, she shares her journey, her works, and her passion for an art that combines observation, imagination, and authenticity.
